NEW DELHI: External affairs minister S Jaishankar is visiting the United States for three days from Monday to participate in the critical minerals ministerial meet convened by the US secretary of state Marco Rubio. He will also hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines during the trip.
Jaishankar will focus on supply chain resilience, clean energy transitions and strategic cooperation in critical minerals, according to an official statement.
ET was the first to report that Jaishankar would be visiting the US in February. During the visit, the external affairs minister will also hold meetings with senior members of the US administration, according to the statement.
